

Grant Smith
Grant has been involved in the fitness industry for over 20 years. He started his career of as a basketball coach before moving into the gym environment. He is a level 4 personal trainer specialising in obesity and diabetes, management of lower back pain, and GP referral.
When you’re lifting all sorts of heavy objects, you’re often doing it in one plane of movement, which can put a strain on parts of the body on a regular basis – which can result in injury. Grant's focus of functional training is to restore proper restoration into human movement, which is often ignored when it comes to traditional workouts.

Dr. David Murday (MBBS | BSc | MRCP (UK)
David graduated from St George’s Hospital Medical School in 2001. He completed a Bachelor of Science in 1998 with a focus on Cardiovascular and Respiratory Pharmacology and Clinical Neurosciences. His postgraduate training included time in cardiology and clinical radiology, before completing training in Acute Medicine in 2015. Since this time he has practiced at Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth as an Acute Medicine Consultant. He was Clinical Director of the Acute Medicine Unit for 4 years.
David has interest in preventative medicine and has published many clinical research papers in the field of cardiovascular medicine and arrhythmia risk. He has experience in cardiovascular and respiratory physiology and holds qualifications in nutritional sciences.
He has a fascination with digital medicine technologies and health wearables. For the past 7 years he has fulfilled this passion in digital medicine in the roles of Chief Clinical Information Officer and Clinical Safety Officer for Portsmouth Hospitals University Trust.

Dr Shez Akram (BM | FRCP (UK)
Shez graduated from Southampton Medical School in 2002. After gaining his MRCP, he trained in Acute Medicine from 2007-2011 in the Wessex Deanery. Since then, he has been a consultant at Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth during which time he was clinical director of the Acute Medical Unit for 4 years. He was elected as a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in 2014. He is passionate about education and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Education.

Sammy Latifi
Sammy Latifi is an experienced business development leader with over 20 years of experience spanning large enterprises and startups. He holds a strong foundation in finance, backed by his tenure at top-tier investment banks in the UK, including UBS, Deutsche Bank, and Citibank where he served as a Senior Analyst. His expertise in financial modeling, risk assessment, and market research has been instrumental in shaping his strategic approach to business growth.
Academically, Sammy holds a BSc in Mathematics with Finance & Economics from City University, UK, an MSc in Investment Management from Cass Business School, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from BPP Law School.
Sammy is fluent in English, French, Spanish and Arabic.
